About
Angie Zmarzly is a Nebraska-raised writer living in Australia with her husband, three kids, three cats, a Golden Retriever, several backyard kookaburras and an occasional carpet python. Previously she worked as a political speechwriter, an industry-recognized humor blogger, and wrote hometown magazine features that were enjoyed by her mother and deemed instrumental to the lining of numerous bird cages. Her unpublished memoir FERAL: If Grief Were an Animal That Scratched Out My Eyes is now complete and seeking representation. Her essay I Didn't Know I Had an Abortion was published by BuzzFeed and HuffPost.
